WHAT WE DO

Some Objects of the Trust are

To grant financial assistance to any educational institution for granting scholarships, prizes, medals, awards for excellence in studies, sports, art & culture and scientific research and distribution of books for economically weak and deserving students.

To establish, maintain and manage schools and education centers for good education and advancement of knowledge among under-privileged people.

To establish and run hospitals, nursing homes, health centers, clinics, dispensaries, specialized medical care institutions, medical check-up camps and institutions of similar nature without profit motive to cater to the needs of economically weaker section.

To undertake and promote community health programs in deserving urban centers and villages.

To establish and run Computer training centers and study centers to cater to the needs of under-privileged people.

To grant financial assistance or scholarship to any individual or a group of individuals or an organization for conducting any research work related to the use of ICT in healthcare and education.

To collaborate with various stakeholders, including Government, non-government organizations, corporates, various institutions and individuals, from India and abroad, for all the initiatives of the Trust.

To develop required infrastructure, buildings and other assets necessary to carry out the objectives of this Trust.

To print and publish books, pamphlets, leaflets, magazines, periodicals, journals etc. on the activities, development and other common issues pertaining to the objectives of the Trust and distribute them free of cost or at cost to public.

The Trust will not carry out any activities with the intention of earning profit and will perform with service motive only.

To create ‘green consciousness’ and build pride in the younger generation for being actors of environmental conservation by giving them due recognition of their participation.

To inspire people to plant trees, develop a culture of care towards the environment and make them realize their inevitable dependence on nature.

As you can see, plants are valuable to us in so many ways. We want everyone to see how amazing plants are, so we have launched a new campaign called ‘The Value of Plants’. Using findings from a range of studies, we have produced a series of infographics to show how plants help us in different settings, including educational, healthcare, home and workplace environments. In all these places, the greatest value plants have for us is the improvement of our well-being and mental health.

Medical Camp Organized on Auguest 2015

India after decades of independence is still struggling to provide basic health care facilities to its citizens. Provisions for basic health care services especially in rural India are few and far between. It’s an understood reality that the elderly fall way behind in receiving these services.

A specialised health camp has a team of specialised doctors like dentists, ophthalmologists besides general physician, pharmacist and assistant. The health camps ensuring diagnosis, treatment and referrals for general ailments, dental care and ophthalmic diseases are carried out. These camps also focus on preventive health care program through Information, Education and Communication and Behaviour Change Communication activities among the community.
